Hi Carolyn:) I have recently dyed my hair lavender and got an A-line. I wanted to switch up my makeup a bit but I have no idea where to begin or what would look good. Do you have any advice for me? I'd appreciate any tips.

I've been wanting to do lavender for the longest, but instead I just get blonder lol

Lavender hair is a time to play, bold lips and eyes seem to work really well with this hair color. Also pin up looks (think Kelly Osborne)

Play up pinks and purples to compliment the hair, but also don't be afraid to experiment with other colors too.

Anything yellow based will go with your hair since yellow and purple are opposites on the color wheel. So oranges and reds will look great -like the picture.

Hope that's helpful :)

Heyy
I just want to ask you about MAC products
do you think they are good to be used?

@Joanna I personally love MAC, I think there are products they do very well. Like lipsticks, liners and powders.

That being said just because they're MAC doesn't mean they do everything perfectly. So I would suggest trying some best selling MAC products but don't be afraid to explore other high end or even drugstore brands that have comparable or better quality products to Mac.

@Karen I've been using MAC for years and have never had a problem with break outs. I've never really given much thought to MAC causing breakouts since there are so many possible factors to why people breakout.

Hormonal changes (period) cause breakouts all the time, and that doesn't mean it's my MAC foundation. Hygiene and sleeping patterns (oils in pillows) hair products, eating habits etc.

So many different factors can cause a breakout and since a lot of people do use MAC foundations its easy to blame them as the cause.

You can check out Goss' video on Mac and breakouts for a more Professional/scientific sounding answer lol
