Well, I don't think you should because you may get tired of the look after a whole then it would be hard to grow back out but if that's what you want, then do it! Just make sure you will want to stick with the idea for a while.

I agree with Abby. My friend shaved just a couple inches and she loved it that way, when she was originally thinking of shaving off more. If you do get tired of the look, you can always maneuver in some extensions.

You'll have to keep touching up the spot that you shaved about every two Weeks to keep it the way you want it to look. It takes some maintenance, I'd just think about the whole picture first.

I personally love the look, but I'm not too crazy about how it looks on you. why not stick to the braid type thing like in the picture, or just clip the hair back every now and then for that look. I think the look goes beyond how people make it out to be. girls are so obsessed over how other people think of their hair, imagine what the first girl to rock a side cut felt like. I think its an impowering look.
