I think the red. But if you did a really dark blue, like super dark I think it would bring out the color of your skin but it also might drain you. Do you have any pics of you with red hair??

I'd say red. Both colors wash out easy and red looks way better when it washes out. Blue turns some weird ugly looking green. Red washes almost all the way out and turns like a pastel pink color that's almost blonde and doesn't look horrible.

Blue. maybe a greenish blue so when the blue comes out youll still have a nice green color. red washes out too fast, not worth it to me.

Red is definitely easier to achieve and safer on your hair (depending on how dark you want the blue to show).
