Hey so I want to get peoples opinions on managing my curly hair. I want to get leave in conditioner and serum but I don't know what brand to get. If anyone has advice or any recommendations or products to use it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks:)

I use ag hair leave in conditioner, organix coconut oil, then ag hair beach bomb. I don't like to use heat and my hair looks really nice when I let it air dry with those.

Rachel your hair is nice:) and Rashi my hair isnt tight curls but they are pretty bouncy and dry and frizzy. I also don't like adding heat or even a diffuse it because it gets too frizzy. My other problem also is it ends up looking like a triangle lol if that makes any sense, its flat at the top and puffy at the bottom.

Mine does the same thing...flat on the crown and wild at the bottom. What I do to fix that is that I use a hair pick to create body in my crown area and then I've started wearing a side part instead of a center part and I created DIY bangs (cutting your own bangs is something I do not endorse but one day I was desperate). The frizz is due to being thirsty for moisture. Curly hair craves moisture. I use to do the whole serum thing but it did nothing but just coat the hair and further dry it out. UNLESS its an oil based serum then you're ok but if you see one with alcohol listed at the very beginning of the ingredients list don't bother. I do a three product approach to maintain my curls. A leave in conditioner, hair butter and coconut oil to act as a sealent for it all. All three keep the moisture in my hair and the frizz ball factor at bay.

The whole flat at the crown wild on the bottom is because most of the weight is on the bottom. Getting the bottom of your hair thinned will help prevent that, as it won't weigh the hair down.

Getting curly hair thinned is not a good thing. If looking for a good cut its best to go to Devacurl trained stylist. They are trained exclusively to trim/cut curly hair which must be done on dry hair in its natural state so the curl pattern can be seen which helps develop a style around curly hair.

Embrace it. I have curly hair too and I try to find hair styles that look good with curly hair and make it look pretty and like you did it in purpose. I've also heard air drying, or sleeping on a satin pillow case helps curly hair not be as frizzy. I use this its a 10 kuratin serum that smooths out your hair.

I have extremely curly hair and I've found to use NO heat and herbal essence leave in conditioner or Aussie. And I only shampoo once a week and condition every to every other day.

Here's my advice.. I have curly hair too and I set its in such an easy yet nice way that people often ask me if I got them done at a salon ;) too bad I don't have a pic of my hair..
1. use a thick rich conditioner halfway through your hair but not on your scalp or crown
2. get your hair cut in layers so that it adds volume and makes your curls look better. Make sure the top most layer is not too short or else it will frizz out.
3. use a little, but not too much serum as ut does tend to dry the hair out. you can mix sm serum with a leave in for curly hair.
4. while your hair is wet/towel dried, after applying the serum, take small sections of your hair and twirl them around your finger to form more well defined curls. for tighter curls just crunch your hair after that. let them dry naturally.
5. if the ends still look frizzy, just a drop of oil to the ends should be good.
6. for your curls not to flatten, avoid resting your head on them. you can put up a really high loose pony tail n go to bed :)
you. comb your hair only once after each wash.. I.e., before applying the serum.

there are lots of serums in the market. I have been using loreal for a long time. it really depends on what suits you.
try these out and do let me know if it mad a difference:)
