The Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation is pretty good. It's about £9 (in GBP) and you only need 1 to 1 1/2 squirts to cover your whole face so it's good value for money.

I use Maybelline BB Cream, which isn't exactly a foundation but when you put a bit of powder over it it gives you a nice amount of coverage while looking almost completely natural...plus it has sunscreen in it :)

Revlon colorstay is a great foundation. I dab a little on the back of my wrist and rub it in and If it completely blends in then I know its my color. That's the way I've always found my shade, hopefully it works for you :)
