I started in grade 7 I think. I wish I started later because I got attached to it too fast. but then again I had more time to experiment and thus now I have more experience. I started with only eyeliner, then mascara and then foundation. as I got older I started to wear more :)

I started my 8th grade year Nd by the time I got to highschool I has it mastered, if your first starting with makeup I suggest to start off with only mascara the slowly build up to eyeliner, then later play with make up at home. Eye shadow Nd blush and foundation, I don't advise fobbing it on and going straight to school that way. Practice makes perfect just be patient and watch YouTube videos.

When I was young, I wanted to wear makeup when I was in 6th grade. However my mom wouldn't let me wear makeup until I was in 9th grade. Now that I'm a mother of a tween, I am hoping she won't want to wear makeup until 11th or 12 grade. I want her to feel confident and unstoppable in her own skin before learning the fun of makeup.

I wore makeup off and on from 8th grade through high school, I usually just used concealer for pimples and mascara, maybe eyeliner. Only the past two years I've started to wear a full face almost every day, and I'm almost 20.

I personally think younger girls look better with light makeup. like mascara an some light colored lipstick. but its really up to what yu feel most comfortable in. Start off with a little at a time. then work yur way up to bolder colors as yu get older. yu could even wear just mascara and a bold lip color?

My daughter is in high school now. In 7th and 8th she really didn't want to be bothered with make up a Chapstick and mascara some times. Beginning if HS started wearing it regular. When a sophomore wears Gardnier bb cream eyeliner, mascara and sometimes a shadow. Just now the summer of her JR yr experimenting with lipsticks! That's my exspience :)
