Be very careful with black henna! sometimes they call it henna but its actually indigo, a lot of people become very allergic to it.

I'm Indian so I know a lot of tips so one tip is moisturizing the henna with almond oil and also try to avoid using a lot of soap.

There are two kinds of black henna. One has ppd and tar in it to make it black. The other has indigo. Its the former that is giving people scars. Real black henna is just the henna plant mixed with the indigo plant. Its the PPD stuff you have to be careful with.
