Having my hair done this week, black to dark red, um how bad is bleaching hair?.. talk to me girls.

I went from black to red & didnt have to bleach it. I got the loreal hi color highlights in red. I used 20 developer & only took two dyes to get the desired color. Good luck!

Ohh, okay thank you, when you used the developer I'm guessing that is better for your hair than bleach right?

I just did this! Use loreal hair color remover color zap. It's amazing! It'll take all the black out then dye it the red you want.

I would think so, but I don't know lol. The only thing that annoys me about being a red head is that it takes forever to fade, & its a pain in the ass to get out. (I've had mine red for a long time & currently trying to go light brown) If you go to sally's ask one of the ladies that work there. They should be able to help you!!
