Lately I've been getting acne and my friend suggested Proactive. Should I use it? If not, any other suggestions? I'd really appreciate the help!

I used it for probably 3-4 months and it was horrible for me. My skin wasn't terrible but it made it that way. And it left scars :(

My sister has sensitive skin, and she used it. It worked for her. Also, she let me use something that was there brand (in a little tube) to put on a pimple. The pimple was gone in about two days. I'd recommend it. :)

If you have even the slightest but of sensitivity to your skin, I wouldn't recommend Proactive. I have extremely sensitive skin and I have really large red scars from using Proactive. But generic brands work fantastic.

I've heard fantastic things about proactive but when you stop using it you break out even worse because your skin becomes dependent on it. :/ I'd go ask a dermatologist first.
