I think a colour with a purple tint, like deep violet, it can look fabulous when subtly done :) also congratulations on your engagement soon to be married

I wouldn't do ombré... Honestly look at all our relatives 80s wedding pics and how silly they looked. Ombré looks gorgeous for what's trending right now. But I would stay as classic as possible. You're natural hair is beautiful! You want to look back 20 years from now and still love the way you looked.
