So I'm at a young age right now and I have very acne prone skin and super oily. I need something ( all in one) that will just brighten my skin and make it look more yellow and good coverage , very natural like , stay on long and I also have big pores. I have crackly looking skin and my skin tone pretty medium but it looks pretty when tinted a bit yellow or orange and when it looks lighter and brighter and smooth. I just want it to look natural and I can wear just this one thing everyday and my normal eye makeup. Even a duo is okay but I need it to work. Why exactly is matte, peeps say it's good for oily skin. Ill stop talking now but it would be awesome if you had any tips thank you so much :)

Basically I would use a good cleanser, toner and moisturizer. Simple Skincare has some great and gentle products. Acne and breakouts are different. You might think you have acne but you might not. The toner will help level out the ph balance in your skin which should make it less oily and less breakouts. For your oily skin you can use a primer under your foundation. Try milk of magnesia, you can find it in any drugstore and it's great for oily skin. For foundation, I recommend trying L'Oreal True Match or Revlon Colorstay. Both are amazing for oily skin. The L'Oreal one leaves more of a dewy look. And yes Matte is great for oily skin. Matte basically means not shiny. So you can buy a mattifying powder and set your foundation with this. I hope this helped.

Thank you very much girls I really do appreciate it , my skin color is always a bit different than the shades they have, I have a foundation and all the ones I tried would make my face dull and darker and if I go for a lighter skin tone one then it just looks like I'm wearing a mask I guess, a little dewy is fine but I don't want it to be gross and shiny. I do clean my face a lot and take care of it so I guess it's just the type of skin but shauna thanks for taking time to say all that for me

No problem! The thing I like about L'Oreal True Match is that they have sooooo many options that I'm sure one will match you. They have one for neutral undertones, warm undertones, and cool undertones. If yellow looks good on you then you would have warm undertones. Try and get them to match you perfectly, Also with a powder, try to stay away from translucent powders because they might make you look ashy. Try one that has a light tint of colour to it. You may also consider wanting to try blush or bronzer to bring out your skin tone.

Yeah you can try a bb cream I just find that they don't give the best coverage. I've tried a few and they still looked super shiny on my oily skin even if it was oil free. However I heard the Garnier bb cream works really well.

Bb cream looks super shiny on my face and gives no coverage haha. Try using Milk of manganese under your foundation as a primer. It fills in pores, soaks up oil, and leaves you oil free/matte all day. I love it!

I know this sounds strange but try to find a really good moisturizer for your skin! Your skin will soak up the moisture and make it so your not as oily!

I'm trying to process that through my head Lauren hahaha yeh so I use organic face cream and its not to thick but whatever I add to my face seems to make It worse but I know moisturizer is key to healthy skin so I put it on at night

Revlon says toast is my color? It looks dark tho , btw if foundation is lighter than your skin will it be worse looking? Right now I have american beauty foundation and I literally just put a teeny but to cover up dark spots... Everything looks funny on my face and then when my natural oils some in later in the day it looks kinda good but eventually it's too much. Do you guys have any other tips or even eye makeup tips because mine always comes off because of my greasy base.

Do not match foundation to the back of your hand, the colour is different from your face. you should try and match the colour of your jawline/neck. you don't want it to be too light or too dark. you can always mix foundation to give you the colour you need. some foundations might oxidize on your skin which might make it appear a bit darker throughout the day. that's why you should use a primer underneath.
