I am really anxious buy some cream eyeshadows, but I want to know how they work first. Are they better than regular powder eyeshadows? What's your favorite brands and also, how much do you pay for it? Thanks!

I'm in love with MAC Paintpots. It doesn't crease on me and nor does it fade. Makes for a great primer for my other shadows. Maybelline Color Tattoos was a disappointment for me....it showed lines on my lids that I never knew existed. I apply with either my fingers or a more detailed look I use a brush for cream shadows.

I love the Color Tattoos, like some of the Revlon ones (but only for a base, or they crease in two seconds and I can't stand Maybelline ones. I don't even think they sell them anymore, but it came in the form of a color, divided in four sections for four colors. It was horrible. It creased in seconds and wouldn't dry or even work with a regular eye shadow on top. I dried the Dream Mousse eye shadows and those were awful too. Same problems as listed above but add a ton of unnecessary glitter and shimmer.

i think that bobbi brown long wear cream shadows and make up for ever cream shadows are the best money can buy. worst on the market? probably nyx jumbo pencils. i love them and they dont crease if you apply them in small amounts, really blend them and prime before using- but why jump through so many hoops for a product?

MUFE Aqua creams and Benefit's cream shadows are what I migrate to often, however the color tattoos are quite similar to Benefit's. Surprisingly, I haven't tried MAC's paint pots yet...
