Bobbi Brown's is good. She goes over all kinds of stuff like skincare, photoshoots, items you should think about including in your kit, etc. And Kevyn Aucoin's are just fantastic. He does a lot of step by step looks and they are gorgeous. I especially love the ones where he turns a celebrity into another celebrity, ex; Jamie Presley into Marilyn Monroe, that sort of thing. They are fantastic looks. He also has a good guide to highlighting and contouring in one of them.

I think there happens to be a great deal of talented ladies who have spent years doing up their friends and themselves, and maybe even worked counters sales, or had cosmetic courses, cosmetology school doesn't teach makeup :(...anyways...this person may ha e tje ability...but not the passion...either that or Tjey slapped the book together...and its not even a piece of entertainment, bc we are spoiled by entertaining personalities on YT and other social media outlets. all it takes is someone who knows someone...

I prefer Kevin Auquoin to Bobbi Brown books...off topic...moat bobbi brown cou.tees have poor or negligenant employees sales reps or non existent. five years ago I went to buy the Bobbi brown shimmer brick in apricot...I had pre held.it to via Nordstroms...got no service. never picked.the item up. I do have one of her books...and if you are just.learning...it's every old school rule in print, with no fin.esse, or ahaaa I get it now...it's written like she expects ppl to be on her level, ans expects ppl to know color theory. she contours like carlibel on YT. but complicates it. so watch carlibel if you want contouring...as for Brown's eye tutorials...the talent is far more exquisite on makeup we and pinterest.

get an auquoin

Rae Morris books from Australia are my favourite books. The looks and photography are stunning and the steps are practical and easy to follow. I also love Kevyn Aucoin and Robert Jones are good too. Much Love xoxo.

its great!
