How do collabs work on YouTube?

We want to do a collab with someone on YouTube but we're not sure how it works...Do we have to live in the same place or something?

No, you don't have to live at the same place at all. Collab channel is a channel owned by a group of people (they all know the password and have acces to the channel and are able to upload videos on that channel) , mostly 7 people are included, each person has their own day to upload.

@Rita and Zita If you want to join a collab, I would suggest searching for one in the youtube search bar! There are lots of collab channels (even beauty specific ones), especially during the summer! Or, if you want, make your own! Collabs usually post a video asking for people to audition, and then they pick the people they want to include! And, as Andrea said, usually there's a certain day for each person to post regularly!
