They have reusable wallpaper that you can put up and take down.it sounds like a lot of work tho. you can also jazz it up with some artwork. check out pinterest. they have so many great ideas!

I've seen where people take a variety of picture frames, different sizes, different colors, etc, then put different pieces of wallpaper (or even just patterns printed out from the Internet) and put them randomly on the wall.

I use the wall stickers and I live in an apartment and I'm not suppose to paint but was going crazy looking at the white walls felt like I was in a hospital so I painted anyways...don't recommend ignoring your landlord but ask and just tell him/her you will paint back to the original color before you ever move out
