I get that but there are people saying its annoying when they post is my eyeliner okay and could I be a model people need to hear the good and the bad not just people saying they should stop posting these topics it really makes me mad that people don't respect that just because your pretty doesn't mean you know it and are cocky about it like come on with the stereo types not all people are fishing for compliments when they post something like that now thanks to this post people are not going to post them as much

People still should post them if they're saying it like is this makeup nice or is this outfit nice I think thats fine! I do it we all do it! and could I be a model I think thats fine also because you generally need an idea of if they could achieve it or not.

Leanne I understand what you're saying but it's like what Lily said. I mean what's it matter what 200 People think whether they think you can do this or you are pretty or whatever, cause ultimately if YOU (general population) don't feel that way about yourself, then when it boils down to it, it won't really matter what people say because you don't feel confident about yourself. You shouldn't have to need people to be confident for you.

Annoyed wouldn't be the word for me, but the ones with like serious decisions just kind of make me sad to be honest. Hair, makeup, is one thing. When I see something that's like, surgical, or another serious topic like that its kind of depressing. As much as I love the information I get from here...I ain't askin any of y'all if I should get lypo or something

Thankyouthankyouthankyou for this. I think compliment fishing makes people unattractive by nature. its much worse when they argue "I'm ugly" "you're pretty!" "no I'm not but thanks anyway" ugh. makes me wanna rip my hair out. thanks for letting me rant ;P.

Sometimes yes and sometimes no if someone posts "I wish I was pretty" that bugs me because they know they are and they want to be complimented but it is ok if you ask if its your first time doing makeup and you need an confidence boost.

I literally hate it. If they're super annoying, I'll just agree with them.
"Ugh, I'm so fat."
"Yeah, you're obese…"
They usually get that they're not, and that I know what they're trying to do hehe

I was annoyed at first, but then I thought about it. Like maybe they don't get told they're pretty, or get any attention at all. Ya'know? So I see where you all are coming from, but just don't judge unless you know the whole story I guess :) and sometimes people just want opinions. Sometimes I want to wear something but I'm not sure if it looks put together or not. So I'll ask.

It's really annoying. everyone gets told they look beautiful/stylish/fabulous etc.when they don't. what's the point of asking an opinion if all they want is compliments? lame.
