Hello guys and dolls,
Which do you prefer Tumblr or Blogspot?
I'm trying to decide which direction to go for business/website purposes.

For business, WordPress would be the way to go. Tumblr is more of a social networking website than anything else (especially now), but their tagging system is pretty spiffy and would get you noticed faster than Blogspot would. WordPress does have a tagging system as well so that would probably work out better for you. Blogspot would be better than Tumblr since it's not social networking-y but really, WordPress would most likely be best for what you want.
But if you don't like WP, then yeah, go with BS. Forget about Tumblr.

For business purposes? Neither. I agree with Rikki; go with Wordpress.

Business? Wordpress... BUT I will say that it's a nice perk that blogspot comes equipped with adsense automatically so you can make some money with it. Honestly? I recommend Tumblr more social networking... it is blogging software, and it gets ur name to the top of google a little faster, but in the long run I find that a regular blog is much better.... oh and if you feel a little overwhelmed with web hosting etc then again blogger might be the way to go. Hope this helps.

I agree with these ladies. Wordpress is the way to go when setting up an online biz website. Trust me, I work in the online marketing department.
