My hair use to be down my back bit recently I cut it to my shoulders and got short layers. When I try to straighten my hair it goes perfectly straight at first , but in an hour the ends of my hair flip out and it looks really dumb. I've even tried curling the ends of my hair in towards my face and in an hour it's back out. Any suggestions to keep short , kinda choppy hair straight and not all springy?

Maybe when you are blowdrying your hair you should try blowdrying them in towards your face so that they might sit better? Not sure it might work.

I would suggest maying some shaping wax on your ends? That way you can style the choppy layers and the wax will weigh the ends down so they don't flip

Aaaahhhh I havr the saaaaaame stupid problem right now!! I tried everything but nothing works I just want my hair to grow back fast =( and I think if we thin out the ends it will be straight but I don't want to do that cuz the whole reason why I cut my hair in the first place was to make it look fuller =( I just have to wait till it grows back

When did you cut it? Mine does that 2 at first after cutting it then after a while it starts to cooperate.

Mine doesn't take that long to start cooperating, it looks good short..^ I agree maybe try a serum like Paul Mitchell skinny serum.

Mine did that too! I hated it, ended up getting it cut shorter and that helped because I think the way it hits your shoulders makes it flip. But then I just grew it all out :/ I missed my long hair!

I chopped my hair off and found that problem when it was at an awkward length, like just towards the neck and it would flip out, as soon as it grew a bit longer it was not an issue. I would suggest lawyers or waiting for it to grow out a few cm!
