Why does BB cream make me so oily at first?

So I like to use BB cream because its light but for like the first 3 hours it makes me sooo oily then I put powder on and it's good! Why is that? I put powder on when I apply it. But it still gets sooo oily! Then looks good! Solution?

Well it's a moisturizer so it takes awhile to soak in. I mix mine with a bit of foundation and it helps it not be so oily

Use less maybe, maybe your using to much

Same thing happens to me. I put powder over it afterwards to resuce oil.
