If you want to make your eyes look bigger or more open use a white liner nyx has a great one also I think purple looks great on brown eyes or like a forest green. Hard candy has some really great felt tip liners that I love and I know they have a beautiful purple one I've been eyeing

Urban decays 24/7 kohl liner is my fav. I wear liner on my waterline everyday and I rarely have to reapply it :) as far as drugstore brands I like covergirls perfect point waterproof liner.

If you want to make your eyes look bigger and more awake, try a nude or white eyeliner on your waterline. For a nude try the Rimmel Kohl Scandleyes and for white try the NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk. You could also use brown or black for a more defined eye look but darker colors will make your eyes look smaller so I probably wouldn't recommend black if you have small eyes. For another option you can use a colored eyeliner for a subtle pop of color, purple and green look great on brown eyes. Just remember, for any pencil you use on your waterline make sure it is pretty creamy so it doesn't cause irritation.
