The point of a Nude lipstick is to keep your lips neutral , the color should hardly show up.

That's probably a problem with the lipstick, lip butter is meant to be really creamy but not as much pigment as an actual lipstick. Revlon has a Colorburst line with great shades with more pigment. :)

I wouldn't think of that as a nude, more of a pink to me. I think it's just too translucent for what you like.

There's a lip primer by elf you can use under it! It's about $2 I think.

I have it. It's almost like a tint of nude more than a opaque color. It's great for toning down your own lip color, though!
