I don't think you could make it stay away all you can do is control it by using oil free moisturisers , face masks, a good skin care routine.. I heard milk of magnesia is meant to work wonders on oily skin I havent tried it myself but I heard its great :)

I have heard of oil blotting pads that help remove oil but I can't think of anything else sorry.
