I used to do that! I liked it cause it would make the color so much more smoother darker and it lasted longer...BUT...I would always lose my sharpener lol so I just switched over retractable eyeliners.

Yes I always use a lighter and I find that it goes on easy and lasts longer thab if I applied it without warming it. (:

Yep! In the winter it gets so cold here that pencil liners freeze up sort of and don't produce any pigmentation. Ill use a shot of warm air from the hair dryer to warm it up :)

I remember that I've heard this trick a long time ago but never actually tried it.

I did that for years in jr high and high school. it worked great. Just make sure you let it cool for a few seconds before placing it on your eye or its like putting flaming hot candle wax to your waterline.
