I got it done by a hairstylist and it didnt make my hair dry and it didnt damage my hair at all :) but I guess it depends on what type of hair you have..

It really won't dry your hair much especially since you havnt died it before. Just get a good deep conditioner after just in case! Either way it's great for your hair!
