I've been stretching my relaxer for 5 months, should I wait a little longer or relax now?

Honestly it depends on your hair and what you can deal with. I've gone 6 months without a relaxer... and trust me, my hair is not the smoothest lol. I've started using the dark and lovely 6 week serum and it works wonders. plus.. a good blow dry helps a lot too.

My new growth is very manageable and I've stretched for six months also,its not easy lol, what does the dark and lovely serum do?

It helps to keep your hair from frizzing up from sweat, humidity, rain... I was out in and out from rain the other day.. no hat, hood or umbrella.. I was like damn... my hair didn't frizz up at all. I swear by that stuff now! lol I bought it from seeing it in the hair books that I buy. I'm on my 2nd bottle now.
