Does anyone know where the Raccoon-eye trend came from? I mean seasons/designers?

I'm writing a blog post about the raccoon-eye trend, and I was wondering where it appeared, if any of you know where this picture came from for example http://i40.tinypic.com/33bltw7.jpg

I mean in terms of designers and seasons, e.g. Gucci Spring 2010, or whatever. Thanks so much to anyone who helps, because I'm really bad with the whole trend/designer/season stuff!
