So I'm relatively new to make up and I know everyone has their own opinion but I'm really stuck! I've just been reading reviews and watching YouTube, writing brands down and then I'll buy what sounds amazing in the reviews but some just suck! And I don't know my exact shades, I know my skin tone is cool. So what brands are amazing? What do you highly recommend?

I recommend BB Cream for foundation, it has a few bottles depending on what your skin color range is, so it's really easy to find your perfect color. I also recommend Get Big Lashes by Essence, the bottle is only a few dollars and lasts for months and makes your eyelashes look amazing! Hope this helped :)

Urban Decay have good palettes, there Naked 1, 2 and Naked Basics. They are really nice neutral everyday tones <3.

I think that every brand has at least one fantastic product. You won't find a single brand that makes only perfect products (even though it would be great), even brands such as MAC and L'ancome have not-that-great products. You have to know exactly what you want to find, and then it's easier to recommend you something :)

Personally I just go to ulta, sephora, and department stores and test and play with the makeup, to find what I like. If you see a look you like, it doesn't necessarily have to be the same colors that the person applied to get that look, just similar colors will work. It is a lot of trial and error though. I recommend getting the urban decay naked 2 palette for cool tones though.

If you go to a sephora to test out their foundation you can write the shade and brand and go to findation.com to get different foundations with the same shade.:) coastal scents and bh cosmetics have a great eyeshadow pallete and they're always having sales too. GL!
