I regret bleaching my hair! It turned out orange and my ends are brittle and damaged. I bleached it today but is it okay to dye it dark brown tomorrow morning. I have a party to go to and orange hair is the worst thing to show up and surprise everybody with. :(
Any tips on how to keep it looking healthy?
Will my dark brown fade quickly?
:'(
I hate my hair!

Honestly I would just wait a couple days for your hair to calm down. But if you must dye it then do so but expect more damage.

Try a natural home remedy: 2 teaspoons olive oil, water, and honey heat it up till it's warm (not hot) and let it sit over night an rinse it out in the morning, depending on the results, then see if you should re-dye it.

You could do a semi permanent now but you should wait at least 2 weeks to color it after bleaching. I would wait a month to color it again if its damaged.

Do a demi color it is less damaging. and if you go less then 4 levels darker then your orange is it shouldn't fade out. but before you put the demi on make sure you deep condition your hair and rinse that out with cool water.

I'm a hairstylist and it's fine to dye it again tomorrow but I would use a semi/Demi permanent... And yes it's going to fade faster because your hair is extra porous... You could also try calling a salon and they might be able to tone the bleach to a nice color blonde... Good luck!!

Don't do anything to it depending on the type of bleach that was used you could end up with zebra hair best thing is to use a toner in brunette color and/or demipermanent die in brown that is ammonia free that will help tone it down then wash with john Frieda brunette shampoo/conditioner you will just have to wait till it grow out and cut it all off otherwise your hair will stay damaged until all the bleach is removed - similar story with my blonde highlights went to a crappy mall salon and they did a shitty job my hair turned green! horrible! but now its all gone and hair is healthy again after cutting out all the bleach.

Put the color back in! Its not going to do that much more damage. If you can use a 10 vol developer, get a trim and keep conditioning it back to health. Coconut oil👍👍👍 your hair will love you!!

Oh and if you are using drugstore products it will probly fade. You may have to repeat it every couple week for a while. If you can go to a beauty supply its not too expensive to get 4oz of 10vol and a color. I hope your hair gets better.

Did you use a toner after you bleached it?

Nooo!! just get a grey/blue/violet hair tint/wash in wash out hair dye and do that a few times...dying your hail will just make your hair even worse or even just all fall out!! wait at least a month before you dye it permanently again and do conditioning treatments at least 2-3 times a week (coconut oil out just normal conditioner on for 30 mins with warm towel over) getting it cut too will help...but for a quick rescue wash in wask out dye then a good conditioning treatment should at least lessen the orangeness and make your hail a little better if not a lot...but it won't happen overnight
..sorry :(
