Sigma or MAC are the two best brands in my opinion. MAC is a little more expensive. You can get sets for cheaper prices from Sigma, but you can also just by them individually.

I got a kit on sephora and they turned out great! $23 for 5 brushes, with a spacious case I even use to store my everyday makeup , you can still find them, it's the only pink set at sephora, with white & black dots and stripes.

I like Real Techniques & Sedona Lace brushes. You can get Real Techniques at Ulta & Target.com. Ulta always has a sale on them. The vortex brush set by Sedona lace is literally amazing.. Best brushes I have ever had!... Only thing.. They are pretty pricy... The whole set itself is quite expensive but on their site you can buy each brush individual... If you didn't need all of the ones in the set! :)
