I feel like I know how to do foundation pretty well. But I'm always looking to improve. My skin is super hard to cover. It's red, and I don't like seeing red at all. I feel like it takes a lot of foundation to cover it. I want to look more natural. I have large pores, redness, acne scars, and the occasional pimple. The worst part is my pores. What is a good foundation for large pores that will make them look better? One that won't settle in a make them look worse. Also what is a good product for covering up acne scars without too much product? Thanks!

There are primers that can diffuse large pores, redness, and acne scars that will allow you to get the best out of your foundation, so that it sits better and lasts longer, besides reducing pore size, redness and scarring. Definitely look into primers besides other foundations.
Also, what is the foundation youre wearing in your default? It looks flawless!

Yeah, I'm always looking into different primers.

A primer could diffuse the red, and so can a green concealer!
Make Up For Ever HD foundation is AMAZING at covering flaws on the face, it is a little pricey, but it's completely worth it.

^I second this! MUFE HD foundation AND primers are the base for my daily makeup and I don't think I could settle for anything less. I use their green photofinish primer to cancel out the redness from some redness on my cheeks from old acne scarring and veins, and it works like a photoshop tool that cancels it out underneath your foundation. LOVE it to pieces! =D

Yeah, unfortunately I must've tried everything. I've tried all of this! :/ It really settles into my pores :(

Green concealers are excellent for disguising redness which keeps you from piling on foundation. I like mineral concealers, especially Everyday Minerals in Mint and Lauress in Neutralize. Both are green, but Lauress is a bit more on the neutral side. Both work very well. The don't really help with the pores, but I have to put much less foundation on because they neutralize most of my redness and don't feel heavy at all.
