Revlon, definitely :) their foundations and lipsticks blow some high end brands out of the water!

It depends. For me as far as foundations go I only had luck getting the perfect color match with Revlon but then not many stores carry the color I need so I gave up and now I use Bobbi Brown. Mascara I tend to reach for drugstore and sometimes I splurge for a high-end if I remember to think about it during a Sephora binge. With drugstore lipstick I've only had success with CoverGirl. Out the 12 tubes I own only one was a dud for me. Being a woman of color with combo skin I tend to be more successful with high-end make-up over drugstore.

There are two things I think are just/can be just as good as high end stuff and that's lip products (well some) and mascaras. Oh, scratch that. Three things. Include translucent powder. But I've only tried Palladio and liked it, so.

I pretty much use everything from a drugstore. Where I live is very hot and humid, so personally I don't like to use expensive products I'll sweat off. Plus drugstore foundation tends to be more lightweight.

Mascara and lipstick :)

Mascara for sure.

Revlon products are awesome, I really like their lipsticks. Neutrogena Healthy skin is one of my go to foundations (I love Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation though)

One thing that I don't like from drugstores are eyeshadows. I haven't found a brand that I am in love with! Any recommendations would be great though.

Mascaras and lip products can be comparable and Maybelline's Color Tattoos are amazing. I really can't say I've found a drugstore product that rivals /the best/ of a high end product. A girl can dream though! Haha

@Jessica E. - Have you tried Wet 'n Wild Color Icon palettes?

Some of the Wet'n'Wild eye shadows work amazingly well. I've got a gold in a palette of mine that has more pigmentation than my gold MAC eye shadow. I also have to say that high end mascaras will never be worth it to me. The one I've tried works no better than any of my $5 drugstore ones. The only difference is that it's quadruple the price.

My boyfriend bought me a few high end goodies for my birthday back in December and I got the Tarte Lights, Camera Lashes Mascara- and I hate it! I'd much rather use my Mabyeline or L'Oreal mascaras =)

I have to agree on the Maybeline Color Tattoos, I love these and find them quite comparable to my MAC Paint Pots when it comes to staying power and feel.

It depends entirely on the product and who is using it. Generally speaking, I think drugstore makeup has improved drastically over the past 10 years. That said, I've also noticed that the prices have increased as well. Prices in Canada can get pretty steep, I've seen Revlon's Colorstay foundation for $19.99.. which is ridiculous in my opinion. I tend to only buy L'Oreal, Revlon or CoverGirl when it's on sale now because for just a bit more I could have the convenience of getting samples and swatches from cosmetics departments.

I think Essence and Wet & Wild are my ideal when it comes to drugstore because the quality is good, while the price remains extremely reasonable.

some thing drugstores are better, for the high end up sometimes you are only buying for the brand. Having said that stuff in australia is really expensive!! US prices are like 1/2 price compared to Aus.

That's tricky! I swear my last 10 videos/blogs were all about drugstore products! All of the companies have really stepped their game up! Some products I can NOT live without are Revlon lip butters, salma hayek nuance tinted moisturizer, true match powder, and my covergirl lashblast! Idk if any high end product can top those, especially not at those price points!
