I naturally have an oily/shiny skin type. I thankfully never have breakouts or such but I'm trying to find alternative routes to control the oiliness. I only wear eye makeup and have gone through dozens of facial products. It's mainly my chin, forehead and cheeks. Any help please?😣

You can try matte finish setting sprays.

I have the exact same skin as you. I am currently using the neutrogena deep clean line, it's actually working pretty well! I also use bourjois healthy mix foundation with the revlon photoready primer, Rimmel stay matte powder and nyx matte setting spray, it's honestly not the best combo but it does work fairly well in the colder days. I also use the nivea mattifying gel cream before foundation which seems to be helping a lot. I've found that regular gentle exfoliation with a hydrating scrub works well for reducing oil. have you looked into the oil cleansing method? you use natural oils to cleanse your skin, it's supposed to be very good for oily skin. also witch hazel as an astringent, cucumber or rose water. I've done so much research on products and home remedies for oily skin and it's really trial and error. hope you find something that helps!

Don't think any less of me but I have no idea what foundation, primer, Or powders. My mother always taught me not to use any of these. I should have said facial cleansers (oops).

Oh I don't think less of you at all! honestly though it's all trial and error. even if we have the same skin type, something might work better for one than the other. I seriously suggest neutrogena deep clean range though, it's reduced my oil a lot. also Google is your best friend, there's some really good home remedies and recipes out there (: by the way you are absolutely stunning!

Thank you dear:) Being in the south plus the humidity has really started making my face more oily. I find myself trying to blot at least every hour from being so self conscious of the "glare" skin.
