What are your tips for a fresh dewy skin look? Is a foundation? A luminizer mixed into your foundation? Strategic highlights? I've always gone matte because I had such oily skin, but my skin has changed and I'd love to go for a pretty dewy look this spring. Ready....GO!

Nars Albatrosss right on the cheek bones. Don't overdo it as it can make your face look greasy!

I mix Benefit's Sun Beam with my everyday foundation, it gives a pretty subtle glow.

I usually use Mac mineralize skin finish when I just want a light glow but when I go out and wear liquid foundation I always mix Make Up For Ever Uplight I love that stuff it gives the face such a nice glow

I am currently loving the Neutrogena Healthy Skin foundation for a dewey look. I've been using it all winter and I am very impressed. It's a pretty close dupe IMO to the Nars Sheer Glow, but much, much cheaper. I've also been experimenting with various highlighters and luminizers, but I'm not dead set yet on which one I really like.

I've been wanting to try the Neutrogena Healthy Glow.
I feel a little weird putting oil on my face since I used to be so oily, but it can't hurt to try it! I might even like it!
I might go look at the MUFE Uplight too next time I'm in Sephora.

Hello,
all the suggestions are awesome. I would also give ELF shimmer facial whip on your cheekbones on the bridge of your nose and a little above the lips =)

For a foundation try Neutragena Healthy Skin Foundation. It has a very dewy finish and is perfect for the winter because it doesn't dry out your skin!

For a dewy look with a nice glow, I start off by moisturizing with Cetaphil Facial Moisturizer with UVA/UVB defense. I then use Stila's Tinted Illuminating Moisturizer. I conceal as normal and then use Almay's Smart Shade blush in Wine to give me that "just-came-back-from-the-beach" look. I then use Jane's Shimmering Bronzer just on my cheekbones, but more towards my ears (rather than towards the apples of my cheeks) in Tahiti. If you have oily skin, you'd probably want to skip the first moisturizer. But with this process, it gives me a nice "glow from within." Personally, that type is my favorite!

As Andreina O. mentioned, ELF has a shimmer facial whip that you can put on your cheekbones and they also have a blush that I got today actually in gotta glow which is kind of powdery but will do the subtle trick. A little more pricey than ELF is Physician's Formula who came out with a "Happy" shimmery highlight which is awesome! On the highest end, I recently tried "Pearl" color base by MAC which is awesome. (I have fair skin so I do not know how these products work on darker tones) <3 Lots of luck and shimmer!

Neutrogena Healthy Skin is perfect for a healthy glow. Add bronzer and a nice highlight (I use on from VS's beauty line, amazing) and you're good to go.

I don't think MACs Vanilla pigment gets enough love. You can apply it as a highlight, and you can mix it with your foundation for a dewy glow.

had your foundation and powder like you normally would, but add a little bit more blush. NOT a lot! on top of the blush add a little bit of a powder highlight on top of the apples of your cheeks and drag a little of the same highlight to your temples. :) hope that helps and i'm not being to repetitive lol :D

I do have MAC's naked pigment, maybe I'll give that a go and see what I think of it! Next time I'm at the counter I'll be sure to ask for a vanilla sample too!

MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle. I add a little on top of my blush to my cheekbones and nose.

I like to use cream with my foundation to make my skin look dewy, and sometimes I will also use Moon Beam by Benefit...it gives you a gold, beautiful glow!

I love my Cover Girl Natureluxe Foundation and my e.l.f shimmering facial whip in Lilac petal. I love them for a glowy dewy look! But I never use them together without bronzer in the mix.

I agree with Jordan... One drop of organic oil such as jojoba or olive or almond oil dies wanders.. I use one drop of jojoba cold pressed organic oil in my estee lauder double wear foundation and my skin is really dewy and it glows all day.. Jojoba is very gd oil balancing oil so in gd measure its very gd for your skin even if you have oily skin.. Also mineral foundation is very gd as those have light reflecting pigments and give your skin very nice glow.. If you need better coverage use foundation as a top coat.. remember less is more.. 😊

I really like the glowiness of Pixi H20 skin tint. Before that I used Aveda Inner Light tinted moisturizer which has tiny particles of mica, which give a nice glow. I think the Pixi covers better, which is why I switched. Another trick I've heard is to make a foundation out of moisturizer and liquid concealer. Wayne Goss has a vid on this. I tried it and it works!
