Is BB cream really better than foundation?

I have been an BB cream user for about 6-7 months and I am starting to question if its really that much better than foundation. Don't get me wrong, I love BB cream but with the temp climbing into the 100s it likes to melt off by lunch. Is it worth it for the skin benefits or not? (btw I use asian BB)

I think so, just because I don't like the feeling of foundation, and I don't like how it clogs my pores. To me, BB cream is like a guilt free foundation!

I prefer bb cream during the day in summer as it is lighter and look more natural! x

I agree with everyone. BB Cream is so ideal for the summer because of the temperature but also because its soo natural looking. Also your skin color changes and darkens throughout the summer so you'd have to get a new foundation every week! But with BB cream each shade usually covers a lot of skin colors and will blend with yours.

I understand that its especially good for summer because its lighter, but if it is melting off, that is not doing any good. Also, western BB tend to be crap and asian BB creams are hard to get. So I am not really sure if it is even worth the trouble of ordering online anyway.

Depends.. If your skin needs coverage like me, then bb cream is not your best option.

I personally prefer bb over foundation, also because I've got a freckled complexion, so I'll have a matte smooth finish but you still see my freckles without them looking like dirt or imperfections.

Bc cream is light and airy and foundation is coverage so it just depends on your preference

Asian bb creams are higher coverage so, you could just use a setting powder with it.
