What do you have on your vanity desk that you use on a daily basis?
I'm starting a new job in a new country that will last for 6 months, and will be buying makeup to take with. My makeup for work needs to be tidy and professional. No fancy colours - browns and blacks. The makeup needs to last, I will be on the shop floor all day, I won't have time to check my makeup. Please help! What do I need to buy to achieve a lasting professional look? If you can, please tell me names/brands etc.

Definitely revlon colorstay foundation, a setting powder and concealer. Get nudes and browns and have some champagney colored eyeshadows. Liquid black eyeliner and/or brown pencil. Get a natural peachy blush with a gold undertone and go for a lipstick with no shimmer and don't forget to contour and highlight, also fill in brows if needed.

Setting sprays come in a lot of different formulations. I do have oily skin & I love the urban decay setting spray by skindanavia :)

I have a merle norman setting spray that is my favorite of all time--- I have oily skin too and that stays on me and doesn't make me break out.
