I have a hard time blending my shadow if I use a primer. I've tried a few different ones, all with the same effect. I love that my shadow stays but, I can't seam to blend it! Any help?

I sometimes face the same issue Heather. Do you use an all over lid shadow before applying your that will be blended? When I do that it allows my shadow to blend beautifully. Do you have oily lids? Jacqueline had some really good suggestions for that on another post about oily lids.

Could mean your eyelids are to dry, do you have an eye cream? Sometimes thuggery are drying ingredients in eye primers and that's why they work wonders on oily eyelids but if your lids are drying it could have the opposite effect.Try not to use a thick base either that won't work.Try the eye cream to hydrate your lids then shadow then do your work ;-)

I swear by my MAC 217 brush. I have been dealing with the same issue. Tried different primers but it didn't work. So I practiced with my brush , after my primer I apply a shadow all over that is close to my skin color and then go on to doing my cut crease.

Some shadows don't blend well..I find shimmery and satin shadows blend better than matte.
