I usually used soap to clean my brushes but as you would expect it left my brushes a bit 'sticky' sometimes. I recently bought skindinavia setting spray and it is sassooo much better than mac fix+. I read that using fix+ can help clean brushes. So, I used some in warm water and it worked really well. Then to get the remaining bits left on the brush and to soften it I used a tiny bit of conditioner.

So, I have a question for all you ladies. How do you clean your brushes??

I put a little bit of baby shampoo in my palm and gently rub the brush through it until it gets all bubbly. Do that a few times with each brush until the water that comes off it runs clear :)

At sephora we use purity facial cleanser by philosophy its awesome we only dip the tips so that the brushes don't get soaked and fall apart.

It's expensive, but after using Shampoo, baby shampoo, dish soap and olive oil, and many brush cleansers.
I bought Cinema Secrets brush cleaner off CRC.
Hands down best ever! Will never use anything else. If you try it, be prepared to be in love. It takes about 5 seconds to wash a brush, my brushes look and feel cleaner than ever before. It saves me so much time and best of all even your biggest powder brush only takes 30 minutes to dry.
