Red to purple & brown??

I have had red hair for a few months but I am getting sick of the expensive upkeep. I have been considering breaching it and coloring it brown with purple friage accent hair around my face. I have had other sorta like the color I want but the natural color was to light. Here is a pic. I
I wouldn't be doing that much purple though. and a darker brown.
