Eyeliner and contacts

So I am getting contacts in the next week and I usually wear my eyeliner on my water line cause I don't know how else to do it without looking stupid. I've heard that's going to cause a problem.

I've had contacts since I was 11 and I've never had a problem applying it to my waterline.. Just be cautious the first few times until you get how it feels and after that you should be completely fine.

I use contact lenses and line my waterline daily, doesn't cause any problems. You need a good lasting liner though, I do recommend Maybellines Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner. Apply it carefully though, don't want it to contact the eyeball as it might cause some irritation. Good luck! :)

I had a problem when I would line my waterline and wear my contacts! It helped that I started to put on my contacts after I did my makeup, because if anything got in my eye it would stick to my contact and I would have to take the contact out to remove the makeup that was stuck. So putting contacts in after I did makeup and also now when I line my waterline, I don't go all the way close to my eyeball, I make sure I only line it close to my lower lashes

Yeah try it once and see how it goes. It's been fine for me and my doctor has never said anything. I guess it just depends on the person.

I've always been told it dries out your eyes in the long run, so I almost never use eyeliner on the waterline. You may not notice it for a long time, but eventually it can get really bad. it's really impotent to be careful when it comes to your eyes
