I am starting free lance, I don't have a million people knocking at my door lol but when I do the foundation/concealer is always a problem. as of now I've been asking them to get samples from M.A.C ( my favorite) or any other place but thats just starting to look so un professional I asked about the graftobian and most seemed to agree to get it but before I purchase I want too know what you all did!? <3.

Have a few really good drugstore shades so you can have a good color range and it won't hurt the pocket at first.

I always suggest getting foundation palettes. You get the best professional makeup for your money, you have way more color options and you save space. I carry Cinema Secrets in my kits, but I also recommend Graftobian, Kryolan, and RCMA. Yes they are expensive but if you are claiming to be a pro makeup artist, you should have something high quality than drugstore. I mean don't get me wrong I carry NYX lip Liners and Maybelline glosses (although it depend on the job) but foundation/primers are not the place to skimp on good product.

I have the Eve Pearl palette which I love, and also has concealers and cream blushes, and a mattifier. I do want to get the Mac face and body liquid though. I hear you can get away with having around five or so and then mixing them. They don't last long, so keep in the fridge.
