I recently got asked to do a girls makeup for prom, for money and I agreed. Then a thought occurred to me. Maybe I should put a Facebook message saying I am available to do Prom makeup for anyone who is interested. It would get me some extra cash and help me get more experience doing other peoples makeup. But I always get really nervous and it might interfere with my own plans of going to prom(not sure if I want to go yet because I don't have a date).
So I am not sure if I want to put that offer out there. What do you guys think, would it be a good idea?

You so should offer! I mean, you can only do so many faces that day, but the experience is worth it. I think with your talent, you'd have the day booked up with appointments!

Well decide first if you want to go to Prom... If you don't then let people know your open for business. If you go then you might want to just do a few people because you want to make sure you have time to get yourself beautified that night too :)

How funny. I saw you posted this an hour ago. Literally one hour ago, I posted on my facebook saying I'd do girls make up for prom. :) I'm a senior so it won't interfere with my own plans. In my opinion, I would not do it if you are attending. Getting yourself ready is already going to be overwhelming and exciting on it's own (duh!) but if you're not going, it might be fun to make some extra cash and see how excited the girls are once the make up is all done!

If you aren't attending then definitely do it! experience on other people builds your confidence so much. After you have spent the whole time being nervous over them liking it, when they tell you they love it it's an amazing feeling..
If you are attending I'd personally say not to.. I did my friends make up and then had to get myself ready.. You spend so much time trying to perfect your work on them that you are left with little time for yourself.. Its frustrating and very overwhelming.
