BIG hair that stays

Hey everyone! I am trying out for my college dance/song team in a few weeks. Now I go to school in Texas, so it's all about the big huge voluminous hair! We have to wear our hair completely down for auditions (no pins or anything), but it will be a long 8 hour day of dancing. Does anyone have any tips, tricks, or products that will help me get huge hair?

(Usually I just blow-dry my hair upside down so it's big and fluffy, then use a 1 1/4" curling iron, which looks great, but won't last for long enough) Thank you so much for any help!!!

do your hair with your curling iron the night before but instead of letting it hang loose put it into rollers immediately. your hair will cool in the shape that you want it to be(curly) and sleeping with it that way will give your hair more of a chance to hold that shape. it will also lock the volume into your hair as well. Teasing and spray wax always does a great job! Ulta sells a teasing brush by the Marilynn brand that I love using for days I want big hair. =]

When I want lots of volume, I curl my hair at night time and I do pin curls all over, and I will usually have all day volume the next day
