I start college this fall and I'll be living in a dorm. But, I have a ton of jewelry and clothing. How do I pack for living in such a small space?

I stayed home for college but all my friends who lived in dorms ended up falling crazy in love with those hanging organizers that you can buy. You can sort all your jewelry and such into them, then hang them in your closet or along a bed railing. They're thin enought not to take up too much room, but keep everything sorted, dust free, and easily packable/transportable.

As for what to bring, I say buy an organizer such as the first one, and pick jewelry that is versatile, then throw in a few fun statement pieces. Pack what you can, and whatever doesn't fit stays home.
Clothing wise, get one of those long wide under bed organizers. They are easy to transport in a vehicle, and you can stack then, or roll them under something to keep everything organized. But get ones that are clear, with clear lids. That way you knows what in each bin and you don't have to make a mess, looking for something.
