Can someone describe to me on how to clean your make up brushes?? And why is it important to clean them? Thank you so much!:-)

Here's what I do: Mix a little water, olive oil and dish soap. Take my brushes one by one, swirl them around it in. Rinse them. And then shape them to their original shape and lay them out to dry. Its important because of all the gross germs, especially if others use your brushes(:

And it's important because oils, sebum, and product build up and bacteria thrive on dirty brushes. It's a sure fire way to make acne worse.

How to I clean my brushes: I mix 1cup of water and 1tablespoon baby shampoo. I take my brushes one by pne and swirl they around in it. then I put the brush under running water and then I let them dry on paper towels!

I do exactly the same as what Marika posted :)
I use J&J Baby Conditioning Shampoo (orange one)..it smells soo good and leaves your brushes so soft.
I tend to use tepid water rather than cold/hot.
Also, make sure you haven't left them in a position that any water could run back into the ferrule xx

I put lavender baby shampoo in a large bowl with warm water wash them in there and rinse with warm warmer they stay very soft and smell great.

Gia, thats so nice! :) and I use too j&j baby shampoo for brushes but the purple one! :)
