My friend has a chi and I wasn't impressed when I use it. My mom and I have have two nume straighteners and I like those! Check groupon before buying or other places bc I always see coupons for them :)

Chi is shit. I use the BaByliss brand, with their nano-titanium tools. It works so great, and leaves my hair feeling really soft and healthy. It doesn't rust or pull your hair either. I'd recommend it over everything I've ever used, and I've used pretty much every brand there is. It's not too expensive, I think my mom bought me a 150$ set of straightener and curling iron. So yeah!

Although I love my Sedu revolution flat iron, I will say that Babyliss is an amazing brand. I have a couple curling irons from them and they work very well. By all means DO NOT get anything from Enzo Milano!! I had one if their curling wands and it died after less than 6 weeks.

Only throwing babyliss in as a lower budget option. I still swear by Sedu.

I love my herstyler. I've had it for about 5 years. My straight/curled hair always lasts until I wash it out. I originally got it for about $120 from one if those stands in the middle of the mall. Totally worth it!
