Hey guys! I got an ombré look done to my hair a few months ago. Because they used bleach, my hair is over processed (since it was the 3rd time I used bleach on the bottom half of my hair.) My hair used to be thick and really soft/straight. Now I'm losing hair because of so much breakage! I've got it cut to get rid of fried ends and used deep conditioner but it doesn't seem to restore it's original texture! Any advice on how to get my hair back to normal!?

I feel you girl! I am blonde & dyed mine almost black & the rebleaching killed me. I try to use low heat settings on any styling tools & let my hair air dry. Also only use wide tooth combs when it's wet. I also use a leave in conditioner to keep the ends from looks frayed & dry. It will get thicker again but it's a slow process :( good luck!

Omg that sucks! I've also heard that olive oil, coconut oil and almond oil help restore brittle hair! I just don't have the patience for it, I've been using Neutrogena leave in conditioner and it seems to be working! Thanks so much for the advice Hannah! :)

You can hydrate it but nothing will restore the texture, that's what bleaching does, strips it. The best thing it use oils to help moisturize it or cut it off until you get to healthy hair.

I'm never bleaching it again! Lol I'll be sure to use oil and I'm considering cutting most of the ombré off! Thank you Savannah!

For repair, use essential oil conditioning treatments like pro naturals moroccan argan oil hair mask once a week and get regular trims to prevent split or damaged ends. Try not to use heat or dyes on your hair either! You can also massage your scalp once a week with coconut oil, almond oil or argan oil to help stimulate health and growth, and leave in the oil for about 30-50 minutes to let it sink in and work. This kind of thing is very repairing.

I recommend you to use pro naturals moroccan argan oil hair shampoo and conditioner, which provide color protection and help to repair the damaged hair.
