There's no other dyes that can be put on it to lighten it other than bleach. Try washing it with dawn shampoo but make sure you condition it real well.

Let your hair grow out some and the color fade, I had my hair black and I eventually dyed it a dark brown. Now I can go to light brown if I want.

Vitamin C tablets. Crush them up to a powder, mix the with either baby shampoo or a clarifying shampoo like head and shoulders, wet your hair put the mixture on your hair, wrap your hair In a plastic bag, leave it in for an hour wash it out & it should lighten your hair by 1 or two shades. I swear it works!
