I had a woman at sephora tell me to wiggle the brush back and forth to create the illusion of longer, fuller lashes.

I've never been fully satisfied with only one brand of mascara either. I use 2 or 3 different brands at a time

I wiggle mascara from the base of the lashes to the tips. I then coat the top part of my upper lashes but instead of wiggle it, I curl upwards. And if I really want a crazy volumized falsies effect I will apply baby powder to my lashes after doing both things listed above and then I will apply one more coat of mascara. If you don't want to use baby powder, Essie makes some good lash powder and you use it the same way.
