Well why shouldn't I brush my hair when it's wet?I always do this and I wonder if it can damage it!

Use large wide tooth comb when its wet. Its,less damaging. Wet hair is more likely to break and come out when wet and tugged around!

Yes use wide tooth comb and brush with conditioner on hair, I always brash my hair wet because it's curly I can't brash when is dry.

They make a special tool called a detangler. You can get one at Sally.

I make my daughter comb it in the shower with her conditioner in it. Less tangles later.

Your hair is at its weakest point when it is wet. So detangling it isn't such a good idea because its not as strong as it is dry. I let my hair dry about 40% then I brush it. Personally, I don't like using wide tooth combs because it doesn't detangle my hair right. That's just my opinion, but it definitely will make a difference in your hair if you wait a little bit (with the towel on your head) to brush your hair.☺

A great tip I recently picked up is to brush it just before you wash it.
After washing it I let it dry completely before brushing, and there's almost no tangle at all.

I comb my hair in the shower after I shampoo because it helps the conditioner absorb into my ends better just do it gently and start from the ends and work your way up.

Detanglers aren't truly brushes and are purposely created for combing hair when wet or fragile without causing damage for times when you need to work with the hair while blow drying. It's incredibly gentle..especially if you have scalp issues.. They also reduce snapping. Wide-tooth shower combs are excellent with conditioners and need but a simple, gentle hand. Anti-snap from Redken is AMAZING!
