It's okay Adriana. Everyone has to start somewhere, and no you don't sound dumb. But yes as everyone has said MAC has good brushes but they are expensive. Elf has good cheap brushes at target as well as ECO tools they're organic and suuuuuper soft!

Mac is not completely necessary. Eco tools are excellent. Theyre made from bamboo and the brush itself is very soft.

Mac is awesome but a collection is going to cost you a sizable amount, why not sigma which are really good or real techniques which are no less good either!
